Help & frequently asked questions

Understand your analysis, account access and plan availability.

What is GEO?

Generative Engine Optimization is the work of making reliable information about a company easier for generative search systems to discover, understand, retrieve and attribute. It combines clear content, entity signals, technical accessibility and trustworthy sources.

What is the difference between GEO and SEO?

SEO helps pages be crawled, indexed and ranked in search results. GEO builds on that foundation and improves how generative systems interpret, retrieve and cite the information. A strong strategy treats them as connected disciplines, not substitutes.

How do I know if my website is ready for AI?

Start by checking crawler access, indexability, entity clarity, structured data, answer quality, source attribution and internal relationships. Starlyz inspects these observable signals and separates verified evidence from unavailable information.

Can Starlyz fix the problems it finds?

Yes. You can use the diagnosis with your own team or hire Starlyz for an implementation project covering technical SEO, GEO, AEO, metadata, structured data, entity structure, content and performance. The scope is agreed before any change is made.

What is AEO?

Answer Engine Optimization structures content so a precise answer can be found, understood and reused in search features and answer systems. It depends on direct writing, useful page structure, context and technical discoverability.

How does ChatGPT know about a company?

AI systems can use trained knowledge, live search results and connected sources, depending on the product and request. Your website cannot control every answer, but it can provide a clear, accessible and attributable official source that reduces ambiguity.

How can I improve my presence in AI search?

Fix technical access first, then clarify the company and its offers, publish specific answers, connect related pages, add accurate structured data and strengthen original evidence. Recheck the domain after changes and monitor real search outcomes separately.

What is the AI Readiness Score?

It is a diagnostic summary of observable signals that help machines access and interpret a website. It is not a forecast of mentions, rankings or recommendations. The evidence behind the score matters more than the number itself.

What are structured data?

Structured data are machine-readable descriptions, commonly using Schema.org, that identify entities such as an organization, service, article or FAQ and describe their relationships. They clarify meaning but do not guarantee visibility or rich results.

How long does optimization take?

The implementation time depends on the site, the number of templates and the issues found. Technical changes can often be validated soon after release; search engines and AI systems decide when to recrawl and reflect them, so external visibility usually takes longer.

What does the free analysis include?

One domain per month, with repeat scans of that domain. The scanner checks a sample of public pages across seven areas and returns an overall score and up to three issues to review. No credit card is required.

Do I need an account?

You can start a scan without an account. Sign in to unlock the score when your analysis is ready. Recent free scans are available in the same browser. Paid plans also save an analysis history linked to your account.

Can I subscribe to a paid plan?

Free analysis is available. Compare monthly plans in Brazilian reais on the plans page. A subscription only starts after you sign in and confirm payment in Stripe; you can cancel renewal in the customer portal.

Does the score guarantee search rankings or AI mentions?

No. The score measures observable website signals. It is not a ranking forecast or a count of AI mentions. Actual AI responses, visual design and page-speed measurements are not included in the current free scan. Missing evidence is shown as unavailable.

What if my website cannot be analyzed?

Check the address and whether the site opens without a login. A firewall, crawler restrictions or a temporary outage can prevent the scan. Follow the error shown and retry if it is temporary. If it persists, send the website address and error message to our support contact.

How is the monthly domain limit counted?

A domain is a distinct hostname. Versions with and without www count together; other subdomains count separately. Scanning the same domain again does not use another domain. The allowance resets on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC.

Does Starlyz change my website?

The automated scan is read-only and does not change your website. After the diagnosis, corrections can be made by your team or by Starlyz under a separately agreed implementation scope with the access and approval your project requires.
