What it means
Structured data adds explicit, machine-readable descriptions to a page. Schema.org vocabulary can identify an organization, service, article, FAQ and the relationships between them, complementing the visible content rather than replacing it.
The problem it solves
Markup that is missing, invalid or disconnected from visible content creates ambiguity. Adding every possible schema type is not the answer; the graph must be accurate, stable and supported by the page.
